お清めの願いを込めた和蝋燭

「イト今」
ご縁は糸のようでありその糸は今この瞬間にのみ存在する。
人の生命も全ては一瞬一瞬の連続であるという想いを込めて「イト今」としました。

伊勢市二見浦で製造される塩を櫨蝋に混ぜ込んだ和蝋燭。
伊勢神宮に奉納されている塩でもあり、満ち潮だけを汲み上げて作られます。
満ち潮とは月の引力が海水を引っぱるために起こる現象です。
日本では古来から潮の満ち引きには人の生死と関係があるという考え方があり、
生命力に溢れる満ち潮にこだわり製造されています。
月に加え、太陽と地球が一直線に並ぶ時、引力が重なることで潮の満ち引きが最も大きくなる現象を大潮といいます。
大潮を櫨蝋に混ぜたお清めの願いを込めた和蝋燭です。

注）和蝋燭は単体で使用することができません。必ずピンがある専用の燭台に立てて灯すようにしてください。

Purify Salt
This is a Warosoku for purification made by mixing sumac wax with salt.
Salt is dedicated in the name of the Ise Jingu Shrine, and is made by collecting seawater during high tide.
