古くより日本神話の舞台として知られている、宮崎県高千穂郷で作られる「わら細工たくぼ」のしめ縄です。

横綱結び
左綯いの太い縄が2本横に向かって重なり合いながら固く結ばれていることから横綱結びと名付けられています。
一度結ぶと簡単に解けない事から「力強さと結びつき」の象徴であり、ご家庭の他、お仕事の事務所や店舗などにもお飾りいただくことの多い縁起物です。
長く太い縄を使用しているため、重量感があり、その形を維持するために背面を木の支柱で支えています。
